History of bicyle:
The bicycle have a rich and intersting history that spanning over 2 and half centuries. The first bicycle was invented by German Baron Carl Von Dars in 1817, but it was not same as modern bicycles we see today!
Many inventors and innovators designed bicycles and developed different prototypes which are leading to the diverse range of bicycles we are seeing today.

Categories of bicycles:

3. Cyclocross

Road bicycles:
     One of the most popular types of bicycles is the road bicycles, designed for speed and efficiency. These bicycles are typically features of drop handlebar, large 700c wheel, and skinny tyres. Road bicycles are manufactured by variety of materials, including steel, aluminium, carbon etc for good effieciency and for light weight.

BMX:
     Now about the BMX bicycles which are typically designed for stunts, tricks and and racing on closed circuits. BMX bicycles have 20-24 inches wheel, a high-rise handlebar with simple and strong designs that allows cyclist to accelerate quickly and perform different stunts.

Mountain Bicycles:
Mountain bicycles are typically designed for off-roading adventures, featuring with chunky tyres, relaxed geometry that allows a stable handling on a rough path. These bicycles come with various  sub categories, including hardtail, downhill, full suspension, track, enduro etc.

Cyclocross:
Cyclocross bicycles are designed for speed off-roading racing, typically on mixed surface. These bicycles have frame clearence for long width tyres, and a geometry that allows nimbkle cycling.

Folding bicycles:
Another type of bicycle is folding bicycle. these bicycles are perfect for commuting, touring, and for storing in small places. These bicycles have straight handlebar, internal hub, making them easy to store.

Gravel bicycles: 
Now about Gravel bicycles, which are designed for adventurous cyclist who want to explore new routes and want to tackle with with challenging conditions. these bicycles offer suspension and wider tyres for cycling on closed circuit.

Time trials bicycles:
         Time trials bicycles are manufactured for aerodynamics and speed with features link smooyhwheel and handle bar that place cyclist handle bar together. these bicycles are  best for cycling.

Hybrid bicycles: 
Hybrid bicycles combines elements of road and mountain bicycles, providing comfort and aerodynamics. these bicycles have a special designed frames, a reclined seat and a flat handlebar  which is best for long distance

E-bikes: 
E-bikes are new category bicycles. these bicycles adds a pedal assists motor , making them perfect for commuting, touring or recreational cycling.

Each type of bicycle have its own specification which are designed for cyclist to make cycling                   adventourous and interesting.
